For a very small price you can enjoy what is considered the most authentic of all the ghostly walks around York's winding streets. This company claim not to rely on gimmickery to achieve a magical journey of history and mystery. The guides are all qualified and if you really want to check their authenticity you can buy the company's "Ghosts of York" video. All the walks start from the King's Arms (the pub that floods) at 8p. Latecomers can join the walk at Clifford's Tower steps at 8:30p. The tours last approximately one and a half hours.
