This is a lively little wine bar/restaurant in the centre of York. Its family friendly and popular amongst locals and visitors to the city alike. The oak beams give the place an olde worlde feel and there are candles everywhere so the atmosphere is great. There are plenty of seats, which is good because this place can get very busy, both upstairs and downstairs as well as in the Mediterranean all-weather courtyard, where you can enjoy the feeling of eating outside whilst staying dry and warm. There is a varied menu, which will have something to please all tastes. The steak platter costs just under £9 and the Cajun chicken is a little over £7. A children's menu is also available as are a selection of vegetarian meals.
