Depending upon one's idea of a good time, Planet Ice can be enormous fun or a cold embarrassing hell where you look a fool and get a wet backside. For the converted though, the rink offers the chance to glide away your cares and have a laugh at the expense of those of us with balance deficiencies. It has been refurbished in recent years, and the facilities are clean and modern. Planet Ice is a good place to relieve the boredom of your children, but it does become busy during school holidays and at weekends.
