This restaurant, famous for delectable Laotian cuisine, is popular with office workers during lunch and after work. The home delivery service is also in demand. Bane Lao is small and cozy with a very charming rustic setting. Among the in-house specialties are Tum Yam Kung Mapraw (spicy soup with prawn and baby coconut) and Khewhon Tale Ban Lao (green curry with seafood). Drinks offered include mixed fruit juice, Nescafe, iced-tea, Chinese tea, beer and wine. Alternatively, you can bring your own alcohol, as there is no corkage charge.
