In a small, little-frequented street, which runs alongside the famous Lycee Massena (of which Apollinaire, and more recently, J.M.G. Le Clezio are former pupils), Colette and Jean-Pierre Soardi have established a much talked-about gallery which makes rue Desire-Niel a bit better known. The temporary exhibitions by contemporary artists and their framing workshop co-exist in perfect harmony. An atmosphere of well-being emanates from this place and it's a real pleasure to linger in front of each piece of work. The gallery area is of generous dimensions, which give even greater intensity to its art.
