The Planetarium am Insulaner lies between the districts of Schlerg and Steglitz, at the edge of a park. It was built in 1947, but has been updated with the latest technology. It is a few minutes' walk up the hill to reach the planetarium and the observatory. There are various shows and displays, some with a cultural theme.
