If you are expecting scenes reminiscent of "Once Upon a Time in America" you might want to try another bar. This might be a speakeasy but you are more likely to find fund managers and computer geeks than gangsters or bootleggers at this 1920s Chicago-style restaurant. Still, after a few shots of bourbon you can let your imagination flow and picture Al Capone tucking into one of the very large portions of pasta. Charlie Luciano's is a hit, not the kind of hit that Al Capone might plan, but the kind that makes investors sparkle when they read financial reports.
