As with the rest of the Cyclades islands, Paros is affected by the meltemi wind in the summer - a hot northerly that can reach gale force in August. Summer temperatures average 26-28ºC (80-83ºF), peaking at around 38ºC (100ºF) on the hottest days. Spring and autumn temperatures range from around 20ºC (68ºF) to 25ºC (77ºF). It can get quite wet during winter (Dec-Feb), though temperatures are mild, generally hovering around the 15ºC (59ºF) mark.
