Getting there
Nîmes' airport (04 66 70 49 49), 10km (6.2mi) southeast of the city on the A54, is served only by Ryanair, which flies to/from London (Stansted and Luton), Liverpool and Nottingham East Midlands in the UK.
A TCN airport bus (30min) meets and greets Ryanair flights, leaving from the train station. To confirm times, ring 04 66 29 52 00.
The bus station (04 66 29 52 00; rue Ste-Félicité) connects with the train station. International operators Eurolines (04 66 29 49 02) and Line Bus (04 66 29 50 62) both have kiosks there. Regional destinations include Pont du Gard (30min, 5 daily), Uzès (45min, 5 daily) and Alès (1.25hr, 5 daily).
There's an SNCF sales office (11 rue de l'Aspic). At least eight TGVs run daily to/from Paris' Gare de Lyon (3hr). There are frequent services to/from Alès (40min), Arles (30min), Avignon (30min), Marseille (1.25hr), Sète (1hr) and Montpellier (30min). Up to five SNCF buses or trains go to Aigues Mortes in the Camargue (1.25hr).

Getting around
Véloland (04 66 36 01 80; 4 rue de la République) has mountain bikes for hire.
Local buses are run by TCN (08 20 22 30 30), which has an information kiosk in esplanade Charles de Gaulle, the main centre for buses.
