Daytona USA

If you've got the need for speed, you must see Daytona USA - a kind of indoor theme park with 'interactive' displays and an IMAX movie theatre. Once inside you'll get your chance to try and change a tyre in 16 seconds, or drive your own virtual vehicle in 'Acceleration Alley'. A visit to Daytona USA is fairly pricey, but a must for racing fans.

Daytona International Speedway

The Daytona International Speedway hosts Winston, Nascar, stock and sports-car, go-cart, monster truck and motorcycle races. When there aren't any races, motorheads can get a peek of the track for free. The place goes crazy in February for the Daytona 500.

Museum of Arts & Science

The Museum of Arts is worth a visit for the Cuban Museum alone, where you'll see an amazing variety of paintings by Cuban artists. You can check out the galleries of artifacts from Africa and China, the Dow Gallery of American Art (full of noteworthy paintings, antique furniture and silver), the Root Museum dedicated to Coca-Cola, and the Centre for Florida history.
