Ohio Historical Center

German Village

A half mile south of downtown is this remarkably large (94ha/233ac), restored 19th-century German Village, with cobbled streets, decorative gardens and Italianate and Queen Anne architecture. The people who live there try to preserve the distinct cultural heritage of the area. The Village Society on S 3rd St provides self-tour guides.

COSI Columbus

COSI Columbus has been a popular science and industry museum for forty years. Exhibits range across subjects as space, the ocean and gadgets and provide plenty of scope for people of all types to find something to like.
