Getting there & Getting around

Getting there

Serviced by every major airline, Port Columbus International Airport is situated 16km (10mi) east of the city. COTA's Capital City Flyer shuttle bus runs between the airport and downtown.

Buses run from the Greyhound station (111 E Town St) at least six times daily to Cincinnati (2hrs), Cleveland (2.5hrs) and Chicago (7-9hrs). Note that there is no Amtrak train service to Columbus.

Getting around

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA; 60 E Broad St) runs efficient local buses and maps can be picked up from their office on Broad St. Buses are equipped with bike racks for those who want to cycle and ride. There are a number of car rental agencies in Columbus if you want a bigger set of wheels.
