This lively night market is located in Bangkok's principal red-light area, spilling over onto busy Silom and Suriwong Roads. By day it is vendor-free, but at night it turns into a crowded shopping area, teeming with stalls selling T-shirts, dresses, jeans, gemstones, antiques, handicrafts, Thai silk, electrical goods and many other items. The place is a gem for all-night revelers and tourists who like to splurge on branded goods. However, be wary of poor-quality products and counterfeits. Police patrols provide that added peace of mind. Just about anything and everything is available on this street.
