The mountain peak can be reached via the Patscherkofelbahn (railway) from Innsbruck-Igls. The Patscherkofelschutzhaus restaurant, surrounded by spectacular panoramic views, is located approximately 100m away from the station. The restaurant is not only a popular destination for a meal, but is also frequently the starting point for many walkers, bikers and visitors to the Patscherkofel region. Traditional Tyrolean cuisine is served from the sunniest terrace in Innsbruck. The service is fast and friendly and accomodation is available for up to 45 people. Traditional winter hut with an authentic atmosphere.
