While the building and the paint are new, the style of this restaurant dates back 100 years. It's patterned after an old-fashioned ranch dining room. It has a front entry porch and a sizeable covered dining area out back. The restaurant recently introduced a new menu that features stonegrill cooking, a similar method to Japanese Teppan-yaki. Meats and shellfish are grilled tableside on a slab of hot stone. Ribeye steak prepared in this fashion costs USD19, while a shrimp and scallop appetizer costs USD14. The restaurant also offers a takeout plate lunch with a rotating menu on weekdays.
