Quite often the term "local's favorite" is overused, but the term does ring true when describing this excessively casual restaurant. Since 1972 it has been fueling skiers, bikers and hikers with affordable fare that seems perfectly suited for the mountains. Homemade soups, hearty stews, and veggie and beef chili, all of which are served with homemade bread, are the stars of the menu. Salads are numerous and are meals in themselves. Sandwiches, including grilled cheese and chili cheese dogs, complete the menu. The drink list is limited, but does include beer and wine.
