Bewley's cafes are part of Dublin's proverbial woodwork. Recently refurbished, the flagship cafe on Grafton Street feels more upmarket than the chain's other premises on Westmoreland Street and South Great Georges Steet, but that doesn't necessarily make it the best. Bewley's cherished tradition still draws a large crowd of Dublin die-hards who won't be seen anywhere other than the Westmoreland Street branch. While the food isn't great, Bewley's is still the perfect location to spend a lazy afternoon; its relaxed atmosphere allows one to sit over a single cup of coffee for hours.
