This is a private suburban golf club situated only two miles west of Newcastle city centre, but with a much more rural feel than this proximity might suggest. Bar meals are available in the club house, and there is also a practice area, and a well stocked club shop. Visitors are welcome to play on weekdays, and also on those weekends when there are no competition events taking place (it is best to check with the club in advance).
