Introduction

Some of the Northern Marianas is a package-tour nightmare, but it's still got its charms - turquoise waters, white sands, fine diving, snorkelling and hiking. If you really want to get away from the packagers, though, you'll need to hop over to laid-back Tinian or rustic Rota.
