Do not miss this big and refurbished house near Escagüey, on your left as you go up the Moorland Route. The sign "1843 - Restauración El Viejo Molino" will identify the building. This beautiful water-powered flour mill, is not only still in use, but also one of the best in the world. Here you will learn about the process of producing real stone ground whole wheat flour, and can visit the museum that preserves the living memory of generations of farmers who have been growing high quality wheat in the Andes since colonial times. Admission is free.
