Overall a nice place to live
Jacksonville is a great place to live. People may say that there aren't alot of activities but I disagree. You have to look around for them butthey are there. This city is very convenient, everything is where you need it. There are always plenty of job opportunities available. The traffic is horrible though. Currently there's alot of construction going on so things are confusing. Especially in the downtonw area the signs are confusing and not helpful. You'll find yourself stopping suddenly, turning around and can get lost easily. But overall Jacksonville is a nice place to live.

Jacksonville is the best city in the world. I'm from Atlanta and this is a much prettier city. Some tourists may not be impressed but if you know any natives, they can show you all the great activities in Jax, and there are a lot more than you think. Beautiful city, very clean. Love the bridge too.

We visted some friends there in Julian Creek and had a great time. It was so beautiful and the weather was perfect.

I was at jacksonville just for 3 days visiting a friend of mine who stays there. Coming from San Diego, it has tremendous value for money and downtown has some neat places. Traffic was surprisingly congested for a medium size city. However - VERY VERY conservative and a redneck type of area.

Jacksonville? A really big sprawling city with no charm or anything of real interest. The downtown at night is a deserted & somewhat scary place. There are no quality restaurants...unless pounding down BBQ 24/7 is your idea of gourmet. Entertainment is also scarce because everyone there thinks that all music stopped with Leonard Skynerd. It is a true hick town because they don't even realize they are hicks.

Great place to visit, super place to live. Host to the 2005 Superbowl. Growth is tremendous. Business opportunities abound!

Great vacation spot if you love the beach. Lots to do, Jags, Suns, Metro park has great events and concerts. Wonderful restuarants! Very friendly people!

no, not all bad, not at all, but for a town of its size, there really is very little to do. i'm from a small town in south georgia, 120 miles away, and i'm amazed by the number of people who approach me, saying that they regularly drive to valdosta from jacksonville to visit our amusement/theme park! the traffic in the area, and layout of downtown, are both horrible.

There are many hidden secrets to J-Ville! You just have to make the time and effort to enjoy this city when visiting. It's not Orlando or Atlanta, but it's home!
