Our opinion of DB
My family and I have been to Daytona Beach for the past 3 yrs now. We ALWAYS stay at the Coral Beach Motel (really Ormond Beach) and the BEST place to eat is at Down the Hatch in Ponce Inlet. Looking forward to our trip this year and many more to come!!

All those cars on the beach are annoying and destructive to the natural landscape. Chain restaurants with lousy seafood amongst endless array of strip centers. Loud and crass clientele. The armpit of Florida.

we actually stayed in ormond beach (just north of daytona) the beaches were a little less busy there. Also we were there in May, just before the actual tourist season started.

Daytona Beach is the most beautiful place i have ever seen, it is so clean and there is so many things to do. I must say that even the hotels are reasonable. Everyone @ There place of employment is more than helpful when needing help. I will always return again and again to Daytona beach. There is no place i would rather go on vacation. In the near future i plan on moving to daytona, also i would reccomend anyone who wants to feel welcome come and see for yourself. Its a great place to be. James Houston

Daytona beach is the greatest place on earth. we come from England & have been 10 times now in the last 7years, we love it, our kids love it, cant wait for may this year. We stay up at Wilbur by the Sea / Ponce Inlet end & everything is great, Beach Amazing, People friendly, Good eating places, Been to the "500" 4 times (the best), Just cant say enough good about it. only downside is that all small motels are being swallowed up for awful High rises.
