I have been to Daytona for the last 7 years for Bike Week and have always had a good time. There are many attractions for the bikers and many places to ride if you are in the mood to cruise. The ride up Beach St. to the north through Tamoka State Park is gorgeous. The unmolested wilderness is amazing to ride thru. Downtown Daytona is always a zoo and main street is like a circus and always interesting if you like the crowds. The weather is always questionable in early March, but it still is an early season riding experience for the northerners who have been hibernating all winter long.

(Report Problem)I really enjoyed the beach, and the shops. At my hotel they had a great fitness center, pool, and hot tub. It was a wonderful trip.

(Report Problem)I use to travel to all around the world, but there is a special place to go and it is Daytona Beach. The place has some magic for me. I like the restaurants, the beach, shops and events. I hope I can visit Daytona on my next vacation.

(Report Problem)The first time I ever went to Daytona was the summer of 2004 and I absolutely loved it. The ocean was beautiful! The atmosphere down there was great. Daytona Beach is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself. There is so much to do with all the shops to visit, the magnificent restaurants, the beach, the nightlife, and the special events. There is always something going on in Daytona whether it be with Nascar or a concert. I was so impressed with Daytona that I am going back this year in 2005!

(Report Problem)My first trip to Daytona Beach in 1995 I fell in love with this city! Daytona offers things to do with your children, teens and adults. Not every city offers this. If you came just once you will want to go back again and again.

(Report Problem)I loved it in Daytona Beach. Especially going to the track for the Bud Shootout. The only problem we had was with a restaurant we went to, Checker's Cafe' & Club. I will never even think about entering this place again. They were advertising a buffet which they did not have. When my husband and I ordered our breakfasts, we gave specific instructions on how we wanted our eggs done. When our food came our eggs were not done properly. The menu stated the breakfasts came with tater tots, but you got sliced potatoes with onions and peppers. We let the server know, and asked her to just get us new eggs. She came back and said her boss needed our entire plates. So we gave them, even though we wanted to continue eating the other things. The server brought back our orders and my husband’s was fine, however mine was not. My eggs still were not done properly, and they forgot my toast. I sent back my plate for the 2nd time, and they brought me back the wrong kind of toast. The third time my plate was brought back, my eggs were finally done, but they forgot my sausage and gave me the wrong kind of toast again. Finally after about 40 minutes I got my entire meal correct. When my husband spoke with the owner, she blamed us for all the troubles that we encountered. Saying I was just too fussy. This completely floored us, as my husband has worked in the food service industry for 20 years, and I have for 18 years. I have never had an experience this awful. In addition to the horrible food and service, the bathrooms were absolutely filthy. My husband took our 7 year old in the men’s room and was completely disgusted that he had to clean the toilet so my son could use it. There were dried feces on the toilet. They had the hand soap in spray bottles that looked like it was window cleaner in them. I would avoid this place!!!

(Report Problem)I remember going to Daytona Beach for day trips as a kid in the 60's & 70's. The coquina walls, picnic tables and bandshell along the boardwalk have particularly fond memories. Today, it offers a lot more to the tourists, bikers, spring breakers, etc. but the quaintness is gone.
