well first of all my last name is gundel and i thought that that was really cool so went there and i loved it. i think that this resturaunt will give me a good name. there is exelent atmosphere. and the service is out standing

We went for Sunday brunch. Food's not right up there in the Michelin starred category. But, at less that 30€ per head, it's incredibly good vfm. Friendly service, helpful sommelier, lovely ambiance.

(Report Problem)Gundels --- An outstanding evening
I recently was in Hungary for two weeks. I thought to myself this restaurant Gundel can't possibly live up to the almost story book standards I had read about. It did, in fact it was even better than their well deserved reputation, not only in quality but an unbeleivable quantity. My wife and I orderd their deluxe set dinner, 7 courses each with its own well chosen wine. This was a cross between fine dinning and feasting, all accompanied by their own Gypsy orchestra. An outstanding evening.
