Beware of Drinks cost - Bad Value for Food
We went here for Valentines day and the atmosphere is great for a romantic evening. However when you arrive the first thing they suggest is a champagne aperitif but offer no menu. How I regret not asking for a menu! Turns out the cost is 450kc per glass!! (That is £11!) Now it's not that we are complete tight wads but we do like to have a choice about these things, when we got the final bill we felt conned because the price of the apertifs is not at all in proportion with the rest of the menu (which is pricey for Prague but comparable to UK prices). Also beware of the cost of water too - there are a few options on the drinks menu but if you haven't seen it they will provide you with the most expensive one - at £5 a bottle. I have to say that I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I found my aubergine starter very salty and the lamb shank main course was nothing to write home about. I would however definetly reccomend the Creme Brule for dessert - you get three flavours all delicious and all full size portions - really a dish to share. The service is fantastic and really the strongest point of this restaraunt - that and the location. All in all, if you're not fussed about food quality or paying through the nose for drinks then go for it!

They charged us 1000 CzK for two kir royale - cheap trick. Excellent service and the view is great but the food is not at all worth the money.

The dinner at this wonderfull restaurant is one of my favourite regards in my trip to Prague. We took the "cheap" menu, and everything was delicious, the salad over all. The sumillier was fantastic, so like the rest of the staff. And what about the bulding, and night sightseens... Don't leave Prague if you don't enjoy this restaurant.
