Overall

Just returned from a Fri-Sat-Sun at LV. Stayed at the Boardwalk which is located between NY-NY and Monte Carlo. A non-glitzy place, clean and safe, and a good value. Additionally, it is only 300 feet from elevator to the strip unlike the mamoth hotel where one walks endlessly to just get to the strip. This makes a big difference if you intend to walk the strip often. Went to a comedy show at The Flamingo. It was the Second City Comedy troup. They performed skits and improv. Kind of a mix of Sat Nite Live and Whose Line is it. It was very funny and a very good value. I would recommend it to others. Keep an eye out for 2 for 1 coupons in some of the travel mags in hotel rooms and lobbies. Also recommend Luxor buffet. Once again a good value and the food is very tasty and very well prepared. Lunch was 11.25 which includes the drinks. Over the years I have found Luxor's buffets to be above average in quality and taste. Have fun!
