Overall

I traveled to LV by plane. If you aren't renting a car take a cab from the airport to your hotel. Best place to stay is in the middle of the strip. Stayed at Paris. It was beautiful. Had a view of the Bellagio fountains and part of the strip. Could still hear the water canons 29 stories up but it was a nice view. Don't recommend it if you are a light sleeper. Hotel employees were nice. Pool was nice but crowded. Pool side chairs were hard to come by and that was in March. Also stayed in Circus Circus. Had a nice view of the desert mountains. Good location. Great place for someone on a buget. People stand on the sidewalks to hand you little flyers. Ignore them and they wont bother you. Plan on spending A LOT of time walking. The secret garden and dolphin habitat are worth the price. Same with the shark reef in mandalay. Enjoyed The improv at Harrahs. Had a great seat and got the the tickets on the day of the show. Take a cab downtown. Buses are a good value for non walkers, but slow. I felt safe walking around in the day everywhere by my self. Some places feel a little iffy at night especially if you are walking alone.
