Overall

Some might say its a back of beyond city that is neither here nor there. In terms of location this may well be true, however do not let this fool you. Kansas City is a vibrant place which punches well above its weight in terms of culture, cuisine and opportunity. I had the pleasure of residing there for 4 years back in the 80's and have always felt a yearning to return. Having travelled the world and lived in various Countries throughout my life I can honestly say that the Mid Western hospitality takes some beating. I would recommend a visit to this city to anyone tiring of the usual tourist routes and indeed anyone wanting good food, varied entertainments and relaxation in an all round unpretentious and bogus environment
