My vacation trip to Maryland
I just got back from visiting this lovely state...I went down to the marketplace and had fresh shrimp on the waterfront...It was so beautiful...I also toke a limo ride to Baltimore Habor it was so beautiful the fresh air blowing through my hair. I have to agree with your other reveiwer Baltimore, MD would be a great place to live.

There is no reason fo me to say that i dent like baltimore o yhea I rellay like the radio sation 92.3 and the dj that is on the wake up work out at 7 am.

(Report Problem)Inner Harbor-Convenient to...
The hotel we stayed in at Inner Harbor as well as most of the hotels downtown need a "facelift", but their proximity to the harbor area is very convenient. There are many sightseeing activites surrounding the area. We loved Little Italy, with all the many great Italian Restaurants. Phillips Restaurant has the best "Clam Bake". Very affordable for a family of 4-6 and very tasty. Avoid the outer areas of Inner Harbor as it gets a little "sketchy". We ventured into an area by mistake and we did not feel very safe.

One visit and I wanted to move there. Public transportation is affordable and dependable, but the city is easily walked. Lots of Diversity. Great history and charm, and much easier on the wallet than nearby DC. Check out the harbor, and Lexington Market. Must see Mt. Vernon area. Check out the ethnic restaurants. YUM!

I live in Baltimore and after twenty some years never have I been on one of the cruises they offer here in Baltimore. I must admit that it was fun my first time but, I have to go with some of the raters that have visited Baltimore. You guys are right it is a very dangerous place just as any other place. We have beat New Yorks crime rate and there is definately a drug problem however; that can be anywhere. I just want to say that the cruise on the Bay Lady was very nice and I plan to take my sister there. Between us, I would love to move to the south to receive that southern hospitality at least that is where most of my family lives. I think if I had had a bad experience in another city or state I probablly too would not want to chance it twice.

I am a native of Baltimore and I have nothing nice to say about it. The people are very rude. There is REALLY nothing to do for people who aren't involved in crime The only lucky people in Baltimore are the wealthy people, who can afford to live in the nice communities with no drug dealing and no litter on the grounds.

(Report Problem)Baltimore, a lot better than Delaware
In response to Broge Kilrayne from Delaware's "Keep on I95 to Phila, NY or Washington DC".......this dude must be disgruntled that his Eagles can’t win the superbowl or something. Baltimore is a great place to live. I’ve lived in Baltimore for the past 3 years after moving from Delaware. Let me just say, it’s a lot better than Delaware. It is known as “the city that reads” because it has great Colleges and most of every working professionals in this town are educated. Broge obviously isn’t….. “has the worse of the South and North USA. I has”. Every city has its crime and there are a lot more drugs and crime evident in Wilmington, DE. (not murders though :() There are many fun things to do in this small city, and you can easily visit DC during the day and Baltimore that night. Take it from me, someone who has lived in the city for years…….don’t listen to people who visit the aquarium one day and think they know everything about the town.
