the perfect vacation
the first time that my friend wanted me to go to new orleans i was hesitant, but once i got there i didnt want to leave. this will be my 8th year in a row going and this time i'm staying 2 weeks instead of 1. there is so much to do that you'll never be bored. there is plenty of shopping in the riverwalk,french quarter,french market,the jax and more. the french quarter alone can take over 8 hours. everything is so scenic, esp. the garden distric and dont forget to visit the cemetaries that are above ground. the only thing i would warn anyone about is sometime the homeless are at the cemetaries so like in any big city just be aware of yoru surrounding. not a scary city though,i'm female and i would not be scared at all. the plantations are awesome and full of history. dont forget to take a boat ride esp when going to the zoo. i could go on and on but i'd be here all night. there are some really good price places to eat too. some are really expensive such as nola's and brennans but they are well worth it but you can also go to other places and get a decent price mean such as margaritaville and mulates. everyone should at least go to new orleans once in their life! it's a must.

I originally came to New Orleans for a wedding, and i was not dissappointed in the least. The whole city is teeming with history and the gumbo of life with all of the cultures swimming together to produce this seemingly decadent city. If you go take at least one whole day to check of the FQ and the Garden District itself! The food was great! Take one of the many tours as well!
