New Orleans is one of the great American cities. From the beautiful old homes of the Garden District to the great times in the French Quarter, New Orleans is one of a kind. The multi-national influence is obvious everywhere, from the food to the architecture. Go to New Orleans to eat and party; you won't be disappointed!

It was the best place I have ever vacationed and I have been a lot of places! The atmosphere was warm as well as the people. The people there were very nice and made you feel safe and the food was excellent! The nightlife was another story... yet it was wild amd crzy it was a lot of fun and I had great memories of it. I very much recommend you to go there...

New Orleans is very quaint with lots of history and it was not at all like what I had heard about it being dirty and having a bad smell. Great food and entertainment. I would love to return and explore more of the city. We really enjoyed eating at one of Emeril's restaurants and enjoyed the nightlife of Bourbon Street. It has something to offer everyone, except I would not recommend taking young children there. It would be a great history lesson for older kids though.

Large tour buses are not allowed in the historic neighborhoods, such as the French Quarter and the Garden District. There are several quality companies that provide licenced tour guides who conduct tours in 12 passenger vans. Avoid the companies that do not use licenced tour guides. New Orleans has its own unique atmosphere. It is like no other place on earth. It's definitely a great vacation for everyone. It's a great place for families and college fraternities all at the same time.
