I used to live in Wisconsin, and I came to Chicago for a concert. I spent 3 days in Chicago taking everything in, and it was love at first sight! One year later, I moved here, and I am so happy I did! Chicago has some of the most amazing architecture and beautiful scenery I have ever seen. The parks are incredible... highly recommended is the new Millennium Park. The fountains are fabulous... I've never seen a city that ENCOURAGES you to play in their fountains! :) We have world-famous cuisine, theatre, shopping, and tourist attractions. You'll never run out of things to do, whether you like shopping, eating, sports, watersports, museums, hiking, biking, art, nightlife... or all of the above! Try Navy Pier for the dining cruise ships docked there... they're so much fun! If that's a bit much for you, just enjoy the atmosphere, food, shopping, and sights along Navy Pier. Speaking of atmosphere, mke sure to take a ride on the "El"... it is quintessential Chicago! If you like museums, you won't be disappointed: Museum Campus includes the famous Field Museum (natural history), Adler Planetarium (oldest planetarium, so I've been informed), and the Shedd Aquarium (lots of fun for everyone!). The Art Institute is ideally located, if art is your thing... but do a search on the Internet before going, because there are numerous smaller art museums ALL OVER Chicagoland that you'll want to check out! Please, do yourself a favor and come to Chicago! You won't regret it!
