go see, enjoy, and go back again
I have been going to Chicago since childbirth to age 22. I am now 46 yrs old. My Dad was from Chicago and every year he took the family to see our grandparents (his parents). It often felt like we lived there staying 2 weeks out of the year:) I often tell my children about our family trips to Chicago and what a great time we had. I share with them that my grandparents did not let us miss any attraction. We did just about everything chicago could offer a tourist..and now they want to experience what I have. I do plan to take them and show them some of the old..and some of the new in Chicago. I do recommend highly a visit for at least 2 weeks in Chicago.

I live in Brookfield, but grew up in the far South side and have seen the city change but still be the same over the last 70 years. There is so much to see and do in this city. Been to New York etc. and it's not for me!

Very clean city, nice buildings, friendly people. Their pizza's the BEST!!! When you drive the freeways you'll never get lost because all of them lead straight to downtown. I would love to go back there some time in the near future.

It's Chicago, what's not to like unless you don't like the seasons and snow occassionaly. If you don't like it, go back to New York!!

Chicago is one of the very few cities I have been to where all citizens are kind to the tourists. Chicago is one of the best cities for shopping especially along Michigan Avenue and State Street. Chicago is suprisingly clean and well maintained. I would suggest to people who have never been to Chicago to go and have a blast.

Chicago has everything that a big city should and more. Unlike most larger cities, it is relatively clean and comfortable. Breath-taking architecture, magnificent gardening throughout, and the lake for even more scenery. There are many places to go during the day and a great nightlife. Some of the best bars, lounges and food in the world! And the people are friendly and fun which is hard to find in many big cities.
