(Report Problem)My husband I visited Chicago and we loved it. The Museums, Water Tower Place, Sears Tower, Hancock Building and so much more. The theatre is great as we went to THE BLUE MAN GROUP. We have never laughed so hard or had such a great time. Navy Pier is nice & the Cheesecake Factory is to die for. The shopping on Michigian Ave is the bomb!! Transportation is great. We used the buses to get everywhere and if you want maps the conventions center will mail them to you. The comedy clubs were great too. Chicago is a must see and take lots of money because you will need it. The food is great but if you aren't used to the high prices the bigger cities charged you will be surprised! We had pizza at Giordano's and it was the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life. I am going back twice this year and can't wait!! ENJOY!!!

(Report Problem)I grew up in Illinois and now live in California. After visiting San Francisco I realise how fun and clean a city Chicago is. I miss Chicago! I could never say that about California

(Report Problem)I used to live in Wisconsin, and I came to Chicago for a concert. I spent 3 days in Chicago taking everything in, and it was love at first sight! One year later, I moved here, and I am so happy I did! Chicago has some of the most amazing architecture and beautiful scenery I have ever seen. The parks are incredible... highly recommended is the new Millennium Park. The fountains are fabulous... I've never seen a city that ENCOURAGES you to play in their fountains! :) We have world-famous cuisine, theatre, shopping, and tourist attractions. You'll never run out of things to do, whether you like shopping, eating, sports, watersports, museums, hiking, biking, art, nightlife... or all of the above! Try Navy Pier for the dining cruise ships docked there... they're so much fun! If that's a bit much for you, just enjoy the atmosphere, food, shopping, and sights along Navy Pier. Speaking of atmosphere, mke sure to take a ride on the "El"... it is quintessential Chicago! If you like museums, you won't be disappointed: Museum Campus includes the famous Field Museum (natural history), Adler Planetarium (oldest planetarium, so I've been informed), and the Shedd Aquarium (lots of fun for everyone!). The Art Institute is ideally located, if art is your thing... but do a search on the Internet before going, because there are numerous smaller art museums ALL OVER Chicagoland that you'll want to check out! Please, do yourself a favor and come to Chicago! You won't regret it!

(Report Problem)I liked the hospitality I received while staying. The service was sometimes a little slow, but most of the time it was speedy and satisfatory. I would go back and stay at the hotels anytime I visit Chicago.

(Report Problem)I typically spend the last week of November/first week in December in Chicago every year. It is a very clean city that offers quite a bit in terms of dining, entertainment, and culture. Some things that are worth checking out are the Modern Art Museum (Art Institute), The Field Museum (Natural History), and shopping along Michigan Avenue. Chicago is a very clean city in comparison to other cities in the US of similar size. In addition, the transportation system is excellent and with a combination of subways, buses and cabs it would be possible to live in the city without a car I would imagine. Some good restaurants to try: Gene & Georgetti's and Nick's Fish Market. Great food. At Nick's, get the abalone. it is out of this world! But finally, if you have to go: try to go in the summer. The winter is cold, wet, and basically miserable. The summer must be beautiful on the lake though...
