Love it and would want to go back

I loved everything there cause it was a wonderful, beautiful sight to see. Also cause it so a beautiful place to visit.

Where it all hangs loose

The laid back atmosphere,nothing to dislike. People so friendly. Will make a third trip definitely.

Nothing but Paradise

I lived in Honolulu for 4 years, from 1996 to 2000, when I was in the military, and absolutely loved it. I will never forget it. To me, it's probably the best tropical place in the world, because other tropical parts of the world are usually too hot and humid. But in Hawaii, the outdoors and indoors mix together like probably no other place in the planet. A true paradise. I was, however, very concerned about what it would be like to live there as a civilian, once I got out of the service. Most jobs don't pay much there, and the cost of living, everything from rent to housing, is very high. So, unfortunately, I left, and am living a fairly comfortable life in Florida. However, Hawaii will forever be etched in my mind. If there are any more questions, feel free to write to me at SunGod95 at AOL.com.

Great Beaches Everywhere and on friday nights on sunset beach they have on the beach movies to watch the sun set

Will never forget this place!!!

Everything is so beautiful!!! I visited in the summer and I have never had so much fun in my life. I never wanted to leave. And if you go, you won't either!

Every year !

Plenty to see and do. You can get away from the tourist traps and see the whole island on the local buses which I thought was the best. 1 Bus will take you around the whole island with plenty of buses to pick up every 10 minutes...

Paradise has a new meaning

I absolutely fell in love with Hawaii. If it wasn't so far away from the rest of us, I would consider spending the rest of my life living there.

Oahu is great for singles or families

We really enjoyed Oahu. We stayed in Honolulu in a friend's timeshare, and it was centrally located. Lots of great things to do and eat. We went in 2001, and plan to go again soon (we had three sons in three years and the youngest is finally almost one year so we are ready to travel again. Yeah!!) Hanauma Bay is beautiful and the snorkeling is great. We rented a car and went to beaches all over the island. Our favorite spot was on the North Shore. We have been to Maui, Kauai and Oahu and although Kauai is our favorite island, Oahu is a close second.
