We have beent to Orlando twice and cannot wait to get back there. The weather is perfect, the parks (all of them) are terrific and do make you feel like a child again, the wonderful ocean within an hour drive, NASA and the gators are even cool. Take an airboat ride and you will really feel like you're in Florida. We just love it and when we save enough we are headed back there.

(Report Problem)Orlando Driving a Nightmare!
My husband and I just got back from Florida on 3/6/05. Be prepared when driving in Florida that basically every road has construction going on. I-4 is exceptionally slow moving with all the construction going on between Orlando and Lakeland. If no construction going on, you deal with extremely slow drivers. Not a lot to do for middle-aged people. We spent a lot of our time in Lakeland at the Detroit Tigers training camp. We went to Kennedy Space Center and shopped in Kissimmee. I took my daughter and grandkids to Disney World a few years ago and it was really nice--lot's to do and very interesting (but very expensive).

It is amazing at a must visit place. You can get a nice tan on the beach or go wild at all of the attractions they have.

Been several times and keep heading back. People are very friendly and helpful there is nothing that they wouldn't do for you. WDW is out of this world a dream come true for both adults and kids. Food is tremendous and transport is gr8. Everyone needs a break from the norm and visit this marvelous place.

Magic Kingdom is great for small children, so spend most of your time here. You will definetly be back to see the other parks. So don,t rush enjoy. We are going back in April.

There is nothing to dislike about Orlando, the beaches the amusement,I've been to Orlando quite a few times and I never leave without seeing Mickey and taking a picture with him. My children love Florida, I would love to live there. There is so much to do and visit, play sun and fun, the weather so warm and I love it. So go enjoy Florida, go to Disney etc. you will never want to leave.
