i went to miami it is good but miami is a crowded city thier is bordwailk,night center,plam stands,light center,hotel center,view center,all in miami beach and the best place in miami hill side were peaple live in miami thier are things to do in miami is a good city i went thier in july 200l it is graet so if you are planing to go new york city or los angeles or las vages go to miami frist but it is not that grat and do not go to miami at night it is bad the moring is batter why not at night because it is crowded stay in your hotel pool and have fun plus their is coconut factory frist coconut fautory in the u.s.vacation spot percent is 90 that good but three citis has higher liviel percent is new york city,los angeles,and las vages miami in the summer rians for the holl summerbut it clars up at night thats why is crowded but do not worry jest try to have fun in the rian.in 2001 we had fun for a week but we were happier because the low prices were grat a coat for 3 dollers coconut for 1 doller each so have some fun!!!!!

Miami is a very beautiful place with great beaches and nice weather. However, the people in the city made my experience the worst. At almost every restaurants that I dine at, the waiters and the managers were rude and didn't care about their customers. Because the 15-18% is already included within the bill, they figure they don't need to treat you well to earn anything. The nightlife isn't that great either. My drinks taste weird or just plain wrong. It's going to be a long time before I come back here, which is sad because I did loved Miami and South Beach's beaches.

Miami is a good place to visit and have a nice vacation, but I personally wouldn't want to live there...I prefer 4 mild season, hills, and excellent public transporation. I would have called Miami "GREAT" and given it a 5-star rating before last year, but I went to Rio De Janeiro and based on what I saw and experienced in Rio, my perception of Miami went from "great" to "average".

Lived in Miami for thirty years . Used to be friendly ,great for tourists and not overcrowded . Building is unbelieveable . If you don't speak spanish forget getting anykind of good service . Speakers of spanish will find the prices change and lessen because of it . I moved to central florida where so far no one has told me " You have to learn to speak spanish if you want to live here " ! That's miami's motto now .

I love to travel, and have quite extensively. I do not usually like going to the same places more than once, but Miami is one of the few cities I love going back to. I do not care too much for the rest of Florida- the state in general is quite boring. Miami is the only place in Florida, and one of few in the United States that offers something unique. The best thing about Miami is that it offers the best of both worlds. There is really no where else where you can have a resort experience and a cosmopolitan setting of high fashion, great restaurants, and culture. Miami truly combines these elements on South Beach- and it is truly amazing. Experiencing anything Cuban is quite a rarity in the States, and Miami's Cuban influence is definitely strong- especially in the music and food. The cultural is extremely enjoyable. The Cuban legacy and the preserved American Art Deco architecture creates a strong sense of history, while the fashion industry creates a strong sense of vibrancy for the city in the present. Miami is perfect for style-conscious, cosmopolitan people who love urban settings, but need a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend for domestic and international travelers. Miami may not be appropriate for traditional families, or those who are intimidated by fashion and prices.
