Don't stray too far from Miami Beach
Miami is wonderful, but don't stray too far from Miami Beach. The rest of Miami I'm not too sure about and it seems a little sketchy. In fact I wouldn't recommend staying anywhere that it is not on Ocean Drive, or Collins Avenue. Miami Beach is very pretty, a lot of fun, trendy, upscale, and safe. There are so many great resorts, restaurants, and shops to choose from! They are all a little expensive, so be careful. It is great place to go just for the weekend (any longer than that and you might spend too much money). The other great thing about Miami is that the Florida Keys aren't too far, and it is possible to drive down there for the day while staying Miami.

I went to Miami thinking it was going to be this great city that everybody hypes it up to be. When I got here, my reaction was like: and?????? Coming from Houston, I'm coming from a city where there is a restaurant everywhere, in Miami, the food wasn't great, only the pizza was. The beach was alright and the people were strange. They were perverted and all they wanted to do was hook it up. Walking down Lincoln and Washington rd. Me and my friends got more than 50 comments within an hour period.

Miami is a great city to vacation, especially if you love the hot sunny weather. So much to see so little time we had. We really enjoyed ourselves. The only concern we had was how people were so impatient when it came to driving. By the time we got ready to leave Miami we were already in the process of planning when we were going to visit the great city again. The best place to stay is on South Beach. That's were it's all going down. Much Love, Spring Breakers 05'

I love all the different cultures one experiences in South Beach. The restaurants along Ocean Drive are fantastic with excellent views of the beach. They are also a "people-watchers" paradise! The people there are friendly, and almost everyone is there to have good time whether you are 7 or 70!

I am from BRASIL, and I live here in Miami for over 10 yrs now. Miami is the closest you will get to paradise in America. beautiful beaches, palm trees, drinks and sun. I read on the review out of curiosity, an i can tell you one thing, all the bad reviews are from eitheir UGLY PEOPLE, PEOPLE WHO DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO COME TO MIAMI, OR PURELY SAD AND DEPRESSED. if you are coming to Miami to have a good time, all you have to do is show up, BUT BE PREPARED! WORK OUT !!! You have to have lots of energy to keep up with the Locals. we party hard all day everyday !!! Miami is trully a unique city. It has people from all over the world, the rich and famous are often walking along the side walks. you can get the best in the world in : FASHION, CLUBBING, SHOWS, SHOPPING, AND BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. LOTS OF BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE ( so its that thing, some people just dont like to stay around beautiful people) I would write the best spots to know here ( local spots ) but i would ruim for the people who leave here, but if you are COOL ENOUGH, i am sure you will find your way into the best parties. Some place i can mention: WALK AND LUNCH at OCEAN DRIVE. Sunbathing on 2nd STREET(beach). SPACE NIGHT CLUB SATUDAYS( not if you have heart problems), AMIKA NIGHTCLUB, and CROWBAR Miami . SPORTS EVENTS ( the teams here are always hot and lots of fun) and bar hopping at the beach. another thing about the bad reviews: these people came here on a big event, like VMA's or Spring Break, Its FUN if you want to party with the masses, but the city becomes more classy and sofisticated when the Turists leave. SORRY! if you want to feel the real Miami, the best Miami, come off season. bring your Sunglasses and your Wallet and be prepared to have the time of your life ! I GARANTEE IT !!!

Travel arrangements were not difficult to make or change. Hotels in the Key West area are over priced as compared to other major sights e.g., Honolulu Many frequent stops by Cruise Ships. Local shops quite busy. Much night life and many places to eat & drink on main street. Attractions all within waling distance of major hotels. Fishing is outstanding.

Miami is a warm ,wonderful city.. I live in Tennessee and will be considering Miami as a permanent place to stay.. There is always something to do,and somewhere to go for anyone. I love the weather and suggest to all my family and friends to at least visit.

I lived in Miami a my life. I just moved not to long ago. Miami is a great place to live. The is not fake they will be real with you. The transportation was great. There is bus, mini bus, and cabs. It is very easy to get around. You will also love the beaches it don't have nothing on the bahamas but the water and atmosphere is beautiful. It's a great place to live and I can't wait to move back.
