I was very much impressed with it. I had such a goodtime! The town is such a relaxed atmosphere. In fact I think we saw maybe a total of 20 cars. Most people ride motor scooters and bicycles. That's kinda cool. The night life was my favorite part though! They had so many different kinds of bars. Anything from real crazy wild to kinda slow and peaceful. We must have gone to 20 different bars! It was so neat to just walk from one to the next and walk back to the hotel. This also have this great little place for the best breakfast in town, Peppi's; the place doesn't look like much at all; but the food was great, and very reasonly priced! But the my favoite thing would be the beach. The ocean just looks so beautiful and beach was very clean and not too crowded. The ocean was calm and clean. I loved this part the most. If enjoy beaches this one is definately a winner. It was just so cool; the ocean and the landscape together was just awesome and the sunset is something you definately would not want to miss. It is my best memory.

(Report Problem)Key West is interresing , friendly , laid back . Old downtown area is very interresting. Much more history there than I thought before visiting Key West. It is also a lot of fun there during special events. But, don't go for the beaches, they are clamy, stoney, small , smell , cold water in the winter.

(Report Problem)I will go back. The town of Key West is beautiful. It's a great vacation for adults. I really like the manageable size of the town. It's folksy yet romantic. Snorkeling was fabulous, maybe better than Hawaii, but I don't see why they would rate it as a great beach spot.

(Report Problem)It's my most favorite place in the world to be! Got married there in 2002, we go every year for our anniversary and bring more people with us each year. Billy Fish tiki bar is awesome (at Ocean Key), start your crawl at Zero Duval!

(Report Problem)I loved the southernmost on the beach hotel for its proximity to the famed Duval street within walking distance. also for the view!! we had our own private balcony overlooking the ocean. we had unbelievable access to the beach too! the rooms were kind of small but that was ok?! the view made up for it. the little town of key west was like Laguna Beach on crack...very artsy but wild!! You HAVE to got to the Blue Heaven restaurant for breakfast! excellent food and atmosphere!

(Report Problem)Key West wasn't all it cracked up to be. All the beaches are man-made, so if you're expecting a beach like normal beaches, you won't find it here. They are very small with many homeless people walking around. Additionally, there are no waves there either. The island contains a large homosexual population which was a bit bothering, because they seemed to be everywhere! I couldn't walk down Duvall St. without seeing them. Everything is very expensive and a very high cost of living, so be prepared to fork out some money. The best thing about this trip was the warm weather, however I can find warm weather in other places without all the above. I wouldn't recommend a trip to Key West for anyone.

(Report Problem)Lighthouse Court with 40 rooms, offered a quiet retreat from the city. It is located just across Whitehead Street from the Hemingway's house, next door to the Lighthouse & museum, one block from Duval Street & within walking distance of Little White House, Mel Fisher museum, Mallory Square, Southernmost Point, etc. Behind the lobby is a nice pool & several sunning areas in addition to nearby swings & hammocks. One such swing is on the inviting front porch of the lobby & offered quick comfort to tired feet. Also on the premise is a pleasant cafe near the pool serving breakfast & lunch, a well equipped gym, & small bar open in the evening.

(Report Problem)Thanks to Yahoo Travel not notifying us about a flight schedule change in NY, we did not go on vacation. We arrived at the airport after our flight left. It was a holiday weekend and we got only as far as Philadelphia on stanby tickets. We paid for train tickets to come home. Yahoo had our phone number and should have let us know of the schedule changs. I'll never deal with Yahoo Travel again and will advise anyone I can about their poor performance.

(Report Problem)I have been to Key West twice and got married there in July 2004. Key West is beautiful and there are so many activities! We went on a snorkeling tour that was $22 per person and it was fantastic. You can buy a dozen oysters on the half shell for $4.95 at Crabby Dick's happy hour (great happy hour drink and food deals). Dining can become very expensive if you stay on Duval for all meals. We stayed at the Southernmost Hotel which we love. We also rented a house from Historic Hideaways which was phenomenal- private pool, two minute walk from the Historic Marina. Everyone should visit the Florida Keys and Key West! One note though...anyone who has researched Key West will read that the beaches are not great. There are no real waves, the water is murky until you get about a fifty yards off shore and there is a lot of washed up seaweed from the nearby reefs. If you crave a top ten beach while in the Florida Keys make a drive to Bahia Honda State Park for endless white sand and clear blue water.
