A big surprise

I was very astonished about F.L. It is a pritty and charming city with a special flair which comes from the lot of channels passing the area! We did a touristic trip up the river and for me it was very surprising that the tour-guide of the boat (or was it the captain himself?) explained us how big the lots are, how many rooms they have and how much they cost. It was also very funny that he called the house-owners several times to say hello. I enjoyed the day in F.L. very much!

A Nightmare!

Red Carpet Inn Fort Lauderdale If you are in a wheelchair, need help, want clean diningroom, decent food, quiet restfull sleep, Dont go here.

Am looking forward to the next trip to Ft. Lauderdale

I bought a condo there for retirement later down the road, so I go often. I love the area, lots to do and the weather is great. Key West was very fun as well and you can stay there for a reasonable rate if you look around. Airfares were really good too, until just recently.

So much fun!

I would definately go back to Fort Lauderdale. I went during Spring break, but it wasn't too crazy. There was partying going on, but I also felt like I could relax. Tons to do- parasailing, kneeboarding, sunbathing, and shopping.

Love it!

Fort Lauderdale is great! We go there every year, traveling from PA. The water is clear and snorkeling is great, the water temp is also warm. There is so much to do in the area. We will come every year.

Great Life in Lauderdale

Everything is great. I'm from up north, but I have been visiting since I was a child, and I absolutley love Fort Lauderdale. In fact, I am moving here after I graduate to continue my schooling down here since I love it so much. The warm weather is great, and the night life is awesome. The beach is wonderful, it actually has blue water. No where up north has blue water. Palm trees are always a plus, and I hva eto say the only con is waking up and having your hair frizzing all over the place because it is so warm. What am I saying, thats not a con!

CAn't wait to go back!!!

I am from Brazil, but lived in fort Lauderdale for 7 years. I loved it!! And I really miss it a lot. I came back to Brazil about 4 years ago and have not been able to go back to visit. I miss everything, from friends to the great restaurants I used to go, like Bravo Italiano and Houston 9cann't miss those two if you're in town!). Hope I can go back there soon!
