Baylights

four stars

Many, many things to do...especially culinary related. Public transportation is decent, although a bit pricey. Scenery is awesome. Cheap hotels CAN be found, especially on 101 leading to the Golden Gate Bridge on the San Fran side. Bad points: too many tourists. Locals are stand offish and even jaded at times. Bring your appetitites!

just another memory

three stars

It was ok I thought that the Golden Gate Bridge was just a normal bridge nothing exciting like it is portrayed to be. The kids were excited because they had seen the bridge on television sooooo many times.

Beautiful city

four stars

Beautiful city. Lots of great things to do. I found it to be a little expensive but overall the experience of being there was great. Loved the pier area.

We can't wait to go back!!

five stars

We LOVE San Francisco!! The atmosphere is fantastic and there is so much to see and do! We really lucked out weather-wise and were able to casually wander all over the city. We took a bus tour of the city, went to Alacatraz, stopped at the excellent food vendors on the pier, had some WONDERFUL freshly made fortune cookies in China Town, and went on the best ghost tour ever! I highly recommend San Fran for either a four day weekend or a longer stay.

Golden San Francisco

five stars

San Francisco was a fabulous city. I loved the cable cars and the weather was a bit cold but very comfortable within the city.

living my dream

five stars

I come from Sunnyvale, CA, but I am attending the University of San Francisco and I have always loved the city and all it has to offer. I enjoy looking at the skyscrapers and randomly walking around downtown not quite knowing where you are. The downtown has a completely different feel than Sunnyvale. I still feel like a tourist when walking around the sites taking my camera and my backpack around eventhough I have visited the city very often and now living in it. The best food also seems to be the places you wouldn't expect. Partially since the food is very cheap and good for the money, you just have to know where to find them. I like getting chinese food on Clement street for example instead of Chinatown (closer to school too).

Multifaced city.

five stars

This city is very beatiful with the bay at one side and the ocean at the other. There are plenty of neighborhoods with the real and the "based on" victorian houses. it's very easy to go everywhere by the public transport (the bus and subway is integrated ) and the cable cars are a must go ride. Any of them go up the hills where you have great views of the area. The people in the city is so heterogeneous that you can find anyone around just enjoying the life.

I wish I lived here!!!!

five stars

San Francisco has been my favourite vaction spot since I was a little girl. When I first went with my father and uncle at the age of 9 I was amazed by the hospitality and friendliness of the people and of course the food. I come from London which has a large amount of good restaurants but San Francisco was even better. As a yound child, there were many areas and museums I was welcome and I had a blast especially in Golden Gate Park! Totally fantasic like the city itself!
