Love in the Valley
A romantic weekend in Napa begins with a cozy room at The Hennessy House. The owners and staff were outstanding and the Fox Den Room was as romantic a room as you could ever imagine. Add in a trip on the wine train, picnics at your favorite vineyards and dinners at local eateries and you will fall in love all over again.

the Napa is overrated. its the only place I was once threatened by a drunk couple that pushed there way past me to get a place at the tasting bar. if you want to feel like one of so many cattle be my guest . . . and oh yes, expect to pay anywhere from $5 to $50 (yes there is one vineyard Opus that charges near that)a tasting. A wonderful exception was the hospitality at the Sutter Vinyard, which has two very enjoyable tasting rooms and refreshingly unsnoooty hosts.
