Today's Lake Tahoe
It is very hard to get around, along the south shore, NV/CA Border, but every where else it's very easy. The reversing of mankinds damage is working and you can see it, so my children can enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe.

It's a beautiful activity filled place any time of year. I always feel relaxed when I get into the clear mountain air. There are few places like it in the world.

Very beautiful lake anytime. in the winter good skiing and in the summer nice boat ride. not to mention the shows and gambling.

Stayed at Squaw Valley with my fiancee at the beginning of December and had a blast. Considered off-season we still had great spring like skiing. Lodging was about half the price of peak season so was able stay right at the base. Fun little village, too. Great restaurants and bars...nothing like Whistler/Blackcomb though. You can walk from one end to the other in 5 minutes. Ticket pricing wasn't that bad either...I'm used to 70bucks at Stratton.

I love Lake Tahoe, my husband and I have been there three times and each time we say we are going to return. It is beautiful and has a lot of fun activities. There is truely something for everyone. If you have kids, there are parks (snow and otherwise), places to go sledding and of course skiing. For adults, there is a fun night life and plenty of other activites. It's beautiful in the summer and in the winter, so pick a season and enjoy!! Lake Tahoe needs to be on everyone's "Must See" list.

Tahoe ranks with Yosemite and Yellowstone as one of the country's majestic, ethereal locations. High in the Sierra Nevadas, with the scent of pinetrees heavy in the air and saphire blue water that is clear enough to peer far into its great depths (the second deepest lake in the world, I do believe), there is much to beguile the heart of a boating and outdoor enthusiast. It is only too unfortunate that a rush in tourism and real-estate has crowded the shores, pushing real-estate through the roof, and endangering the fragile environment that gives the place its alluring beauty.
