My wife & I took an extended get-a-way weekend to Sedona the end of September. We were looking for a couple of very nice upscale eateries. The Cowboy was highly recommeded so we made reservations for one evening. After waiting 30 minutes past our scheduled time, we were asked to following the hostess - through the shops next door, outside through a dimly lite alley, across a parking lot into a brightly lite building with piped in music which could have been lower quite a bit to be enjoyed. The 4 attractive ladies seated next to us had to all get up & move their table inorder for my wife & I to get to our table. The waiter was overly attentive to the ladies next to us bringing them multiple "tastings" from the chef. These ladies were "out on the town & ready to party" & the waiter was willing to accommadate them. In fact, over heard them make plans for when he got off work. The water boy brought us one chef tasting. We have actually had better quality & tasting food from "The Olive Garden" or "Bob Evans" than our food for this evening. Neither one of us had more than a half a dozen bits. When the waiter asked if we wanted a box we replied no because the food just wasn't that enjoyable. He said, "OK, I'll bring your bill right to you." Our bill was 63.30 without any drinks. We were looking for a very nice upscale dinner & just didn't find it here at the Cowboy Club. The night before we enjoyed a very lovely upscale dinner at Dahl & Deluca's - a place where we will return again. From our experience, we can not figure out all the glory & rave spoken of the Cowboy Club. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone - sorry.

(Report Problem)We drove down from Las Vegas to Sedona in less than 5 hours (at lightning speed). The drive was easy and scenic (recommend bringing your own music via Ipod if you are not a country fan). The red rocks lived up to their expectation and sunset is always the best time to see its glory. Cathedral rock was inspiring. Slide Rock was fun to people watch. If you can't afford to stay at Enchantment, it's still worth driving out there for lunch b/c you are literally within a canyon. Hiking, biking, golfing, & spa-ing(?) is huge in this little town, but don't expect much after the sun goes down. There is no night life for any age group which is not necessarily a bad thing if you came for the daytime activities or rest & relaxation. I plan to come back for its serene livelihood, not its liveliness (there's always Las Vegas for that).

(Report Problem)My favorite place to visit in the U. S. Am headed back for the 7th time. I can never get enough of the beautiful red rocks, the wonderful food, the serenity and the shopping for southwestern goodies. And, don't miss nearby Jerome!

(Report Problem)Okay, the red rocks are beautiful and hiking was the most fun. The locals are friendly, but they rely on the tourism so they kind of need to be. It is a city built around tourists. The restaurants are okay, nothing to rave about. We would recommend Rene's and the Cowbow Club. The Gallery is supposed to be good but we ran out of time. We were there only 2 days and that was just about plenty. If you enjoy hiking - this is the place for you. Lots of great places to hike. That was our favorite thing about Sedona. We stayed in Tempe for one night and we loved it! I would go back to Tempe, or Phoenix but not to Sedona.

(Report Problem)I love the views and small town feel. A great place to just get out of the car and walk around.

(Report Problem)There isn't another place on earth like it! Stunning views at sunset, Formations to leave you in awe. Hiking is unmatched! The ONE problem with Sedona is that people have moved there ruining the precious landscape.

(Report Problem)SEDONA IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND BREATHTAKING PLACES I HAVE EVER VISITED. THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO AND SEE. YOU CAN SPEND DAYS WONDERING AROUND, TAKING PINK JEEP TOURS, HOT AIR BALOON RIDES AND HELICOPTER RIDES OVER THE RED ROCK COUNTRYSIDE. IT IS A VERY RELAXED ATMOSPHERE BUT WITH PLENTY TO KEEP YOU BUSY, NO MATTER WHAT AGE YOU ARE.

(Report Problem)This is a must see place, pictures do not do it justice. Once you do there you will be drawn back time and time again. It is one thing to drive through and enjoy its beauty but you have to hike it to really appreciate its spelendor. If you don't do some hiking it would be like going to a five star restaurant and not eating. Also plan on taking some time to enjoy the shops and just vegging out.

(Report Problem)Sedona is a fantastic all around vacation spot because of it's natural beauty and the fun activities to engage in ...walking, hiking, driving, shopping (great art galleries) and the spas are so great for relaxation.
