(Report Problem)A lot of diversity due to influx of people moving in from various parts of the country and the world. The southwest is a nice constrast to the Ohio Valley...I like both.

(Report Problem)I lived in Phoenix all my life and recently moved out to Kansas City. I do love Phoenix, however, it costs a lot of money to live there. You won't have fun unless you're rich or well-to-do. Also, it's over-run with illegal immigrants and many parts of the city are just not safe. On a positive note, if you do have the money, there are tons of great malls, sporting events, clubs, restaurants, parks, theaters and much more. The Biltmore area in downtown Phoenix is nice, the east side of the valley is really growing, Scottsdale is nice too. Also there's a little town just east of the vally called Fountain Hills - home to the worlds largest water fountain. IT's huge! And it's fun to go spend the day there. Now that I'm talking about all this stuff - I'm starting to miss it :0(

(Report Problem)Phoenix is the best city in the US. Everyone can find something to do here. The weather and economy are great here. I unfortunatly don't live here but I wish I did. Phoenix has a great restaurant scene. Some of the best areas in the country are withen a six hour drive of Phoenix. Phoenix is excellent for outdoor enthusiasts like me. Phoenix is the best!!!

(Report Problem)Arizona provides such a unique opportunity for travel to various types of weather and scenery. If the heat's too much in the summer than take a day trip up North to Flagstaff. If you need to see the ocean, it's only a 6 hr drive in 2 directions, not to mention the ability to have a Mexican vacation over the weekend. There is so much history, culture, arts and entertainment here. You get the big city feel with out as much traffic. There are fantastic restaurants throughout the Valley. Arizona is booming for real estate and job opportunities.. It's a great place for new familes to gain a head start. The education here is lacking but hopefully that will be on the rise soon. I was born and raised here and this will alwys feel like home to me.

(Report Problem)I lived in Phoenix 16 years. Thats from the day I was born to just about a month ago, so I may be a little biased. First off, the city is huge. Bigger that most. I think Mesa, a subburb of Phoenix, is bigger than St. Louis. Second, traffic is a bit ruf. The highways are all user-friendly, unlike Texas highways. (In Texas, you have no space to get on and off the highway.) No matter what part of the city you'll visit, there is something to do. Try Point South Mountain Resort or the Wigwam Resort. Downtown is great too. Catcha game at Bank One Ballpark or the renoavated America West Arena. Head West for Crickett Pavilian, and Arrowhead Towne Center. (Also renovated.) Take a peak at the mansions in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Litchfield Park. Tan by the pool at the Legacy Resort. Drive up South Mountain for a view of the city. Climb Camelback Mountain, take it all in. Go boating on Tempe Town Lake or at Lake Pleasant or at Bartlett Lake. No matter where you find yourself, there is always something to do. Oh, and about that last review, just remember that any city you live in for an extended period becomes a place where you have nothing to do but see movies. I loved Phoenix, and think you will too.
