I love everything about vallarta, i lived there for 2 years and everyday i thanked god for bringing me to such an awsome place. The only thing that i dont miss about vallarta is chico's dive shop, i am a huge fan of scuba and snorkel and i can honestly say i have seen them take such advantage of people and never feel bad after. Besides that everything else is amazing, i really miss it.

(Report Problem)I absoultely loved the club Mogambo. The staff was so friendly and willing to participate in the fun. They go out their way to make sure you are having a great time! The mucic was great and the setup was perfect. I really like that it's open to the street to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and the hundreds of people passing by. This is definetely a place that I will visit again!

(Report Problem)I love puerto Vallarta . I do feel it is a little expensive compared to what it use to be but then what isn't. I live in La Penita about 49 kms north of Vallarta but I have been there a million times and do love old town in Vallarta. I never tire of going to PV.

(Report Problem)DO not stay at the Getaway Club in PV. THis is the worst place ever. Food is not good, and rooms are a dump. Staff is not friendly or helpful.

(Report Problem)Gosh, what a place... anything you write will probably not do it justice. However, from the time I stepped off the plane the first time I came to Puerto Vallarta, I felt at home. The people are the nicest you will ever meet, and you cannot beat the weather. Even during the rainy season, it is still 80 degrees out! I would recommend giving yourself as much time to see the sights as possible. I would go to Las Caletas, where you can either relax on the beach, or take part in water activities like sea kayaking, snorkeling or scuba diving. Go to Andale (a pub) to see the quirkiest mix of mexicans, expatriates and tourists ever. If you are in to dancing, go to the Zoo, the party doesn't get hopping till around midnight, but the waiters there are the best and once things are off and running you can count on partying until sunrise. For food, I'd hit up Pipi's, if only for the show they put on, while making your guacomole. La Palapa, if you want a romantic dinner on the beach. Barros Burros has pretty good food, and its cheap. Also, you can't go without seeing the Templo de Guadalupe and walking along the Malecon (boardwalk) at sunset. There is a flea market at the north end of Rio Cuale that is good for finding nice silver jewlery and souveneir trinkets. The blanket man on the second floor is a sweet heart and will make you the best deal. I could write a million more things... but hopefully this helps!

(Report Problem)We had a blast here and want to come back. The city is old & dusty, not sophisticated as we thought, but we weren't disappointed, we love it. Our friends at home were shocked when we told them how awesome our dining experiences were. Our B & B was so beautiful and our hostess Rita took care of us. You can' swim here, but there any boat trips to other beaches. And the hotel zone did not appeal to us. I highly recommend a B & B in town. You can walk to so many shops, great silver, and restaurants. The dollar is very strong here, so good values abound. We had just as much fun having 80cent tacos & $1. beers as we did in the more sophisticated restaurants.

(Report Problem)I loved the fiesta atmosphere all day long and the waves/beach and sunsets. An absolutely breathtaking place to travel. The locals are always friendly and with a smile. Fantastic location of our hotel (Riu Jalisco) peaceful bueeaty but only a 10minute ride from the airport. We've been to Puerto Vallarta twice, and plan to go back next year!

(Report Problem)Overall my vacation in Puerto Vallarta was better than I expected. Occassionally when I ventured away from the resort to the downtown areas and restaurants off the beaten path safety was a concern. Visiting Puerto Vallarta was an excellent choice though I had my concerns initially. The people were nice & friendly.
