Going to Mexico City around Christmas and the Dia de los Tres Reyes (Day of the Three Kings) is amazing! The experience was almost surreal! I remember walking by blocks of "three kings" stands at night, each stand playing a different musical tune, and cotton candy was blowing in the air for all to catch. Surrounded by the city lights, music, and three kings, it was just icing on the cake to be able to reach up in the air and grab cotton candy, or watch it float up against the city lights. Also, seeing the original Aztec calendar at the Museum of Anthropology was excellent! The Plaza de las Tres Culturas was fascinating as well!
Great for: History/Culture, Theatre/Music
