(Report Problem)We were scammed by a tour company on the internet website called Cancunfuntours. Beware, they will adveritse anything to get your booking, but will not deliver. Both their website and employees use erroneous information to get you to book with them.

(Report Problem)I loved Cancun because it's great for everyone. You can go as s family or go for the nightlife. Best for clubbing is Sr. Frogs! I have been twice now, and there's still so much to do! The beaches are amazing, and you have GOT to try jet-skiing if you haven't before. There are so many watersports facilities too, so no problems there. I recommend Xcaret and Chichen Itza because they're interesting but fun. However, ditch the tour guide a.s.a.p when you get to Chichen Itza and explore yourself. Absolutely loved it, and had no trouble! HINT: Get the bus everywhere, it's the same price to go 1 stop, or to the end. And be careful what you buy - there's so much fake silver jewellery, especially in the flea markets, and some even have fake .925 stamps. Be warned.

(Report Problem)My first visit to Mexico, and my first stay in an allinclusive hotel. I was not dissapointed with either. The hotel was amazing value, cocktails on tap, different restaurants serving a selection of everything you could ever want all through the day. I swam with Dolphins which left me with a smile on my face for the next 48 hours. I would recommend it as a last minute trip. Top Tip: if you are sun bathing and it rains - do not run for cover stay on your sun lounger as it passes in 5 minutes - you get to cool down, your sun longer stays dry, and you get to keep your good spot. Its a refreshing experience!

(Report Problem)We just came back from Cancun, Mexico where we stayed at the best place in town - Hotetur Beach Paradise Hotel. The hotel deserves 6 stars for their service, rooms, food and best of all, ENTERTAINMENT. The service at the hotel is amazingly friendly, courteous and helpful. The entertainment at the hotel by George and Himena is like the BEST IN THE WORLD. They make everybody, no matter how old you are, participate in activities for their age group and make sure that everybody is having fun doing it. Visit the best hidden place in Cancun. I highly recommend this place for all of their benefits.

(Report Problem)A tourist trap with warm water in the winter. Hmm. Hawaii is a MUCH better choice: better facilities, nicer water, and far fewer peddlers and hawkers. The best indication of Cancun's problems: you get off the plane, get swamped by misrepresented sales people and pay $40 (US) for a monopolized taxi ride to the hotel zone. Cichen Itza has become overrun by peddlers. What a shame!

(Report Problem)Stayed at the Omni in Cancun. Beautiful accomodations, friendly staff, great service, in house entertainment. Everyone was very accomodating. Great food! Excellent rooms, beautiful views from all ocean side rooms. Forget the lagoon view unless you plan on spending zero time in your room. Easy check in and out. No language barrier, no problem with peso exchange. Always had a cab available at the front door. Close to everything. Gorgeous beach and pool accomodations.

(Report Problem)This hotel really made my first trip to Cancun very enjoyable, it was just plain fun to stay at, and for the price, and it was worth the “away from all the action” location on the beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facility was clean and acceptable. I did not buy the all-inclusive package but I paid extra and ate and drank at the poolside and the lobby bars. The food was good but due to the buffet style, I recommend eating early when each meal opens and its fresh. The bus station in front of the hotel made transportation to and from all locations very convenient. Although not five stars, I highly recommend this hotel and I have made plans to return here again next year.
