Overall

Visited the city twice, once in late November and once at the beginning of July. It was beautiful at both times and the people are extreemly friendly. The town is easy to get around and very clean. Not only is this a great place to visit for the Arts but the festival at the beginning of July is one wild party! If your traveling with a pet stay at the Ramada downtown, they have no extra pet fees and are only a block off the main drag. We stayed in a suite near the top of the hotel and had a great view over looking the town. And while there were demonstrators and protesters for a Global Enviroment Confrence in Nov. and the party goers in July, this is still one of the safest cities I've ever traveled to. Even while walking the dog at 11:00 pm. The dog suggests an early morning stroll to parliment hill for some quick pigeon chasing across the lawns. When travelling thru Canada I will always stop and make time to enjoy this town.
