This is the city thats got it all - From watching the Canucks NHL Hockey team, to lounging on the beach in English Bay, browsing through the art and craft stalls on Granville Island, skiing in the mountains or enjoying the sealife centre, there is something to do for everyone in Vancouver. Loved it, can't wait to return

(Report Problem)Does the world know about the problem with beggars, homeless and vagrants? What a shock this was at the end of our honeymoon - badly influenced our opinion, watch out Vancouver the Olympics are coming -the world will see, please do something about it!

(Report Problem)One of the nicest cities I have ever been to. Friendly people, great food and service, lots to see and do. Spent two weeks there in Sept 205 and did not want to leave. On a clear day go up Grouse Mountain. You will need a full day to see and do everything. Also if weather clear take a day trip to Whistler. Spend time in Stanley Park especially the aquarium. If weather not so good go down to Gastown and visit Storyuem or down to Granville Market. Purchase a two day Grey Line City Tour which allows you to hop on and off the bus as often as you wish on any two days, its great value for money. Lots of trips to go over to Victoria but be warned if you go by road from Vancouver you will spend more time travelling than actually on the Island. Dont forget the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge along with its tree top walkways. A city I know I will be travelling back to as soon as i can afford it. Mick UK
Great for: Skiing/Snowboarding, Hiking/Camping, History/Culture, Family Holidays

(Report Problem)All around excellent vacation city. Visit in the spring, summer or fall for best weather. Only drawback might be keeping youngest children entertained.

(Report Problem)I love Vancouver, it is a very livable city, the local folk are friendly and welcoming, I found some great bargains on all 3 trips there. It was easy to get around downtown by walking or taking the ferry. I felt very safe 24/7 and so did my son. The Vancouver airport is one of the best and they actually have friendly staff unlike many airports around the world. Vancouver is a great city to visit for a short stay or a longer visit and a great starting point to seeing a lot more of Canada - don't miss out!
